STEM is a practice and project-based model that intentionally integrates science, technology, engineering and math concepts. STEM aims to develop knowledge, reasoning and investigative skills that students can use in all areas of their lives. The Mathematics program is aligned to the US Common Core State Standards.
Elementary students participate in Music, Art, PE. All students currently take Chinese lessons daily in our leveled Chinese program.
GTIIT-Affiliated International School adopts a holistic view of child development where the child is seen as a whole person with a desire to learn and to be an active participant in the learning process.
From Grade 1 through Grade 5, the literacy curriculum is driven by the English Language Arts standards from the US Common Core State Standards. To meet these standards, we implement a Reading and Writing Workshop model to help students become avid and skilled readers, writers, and inquirers.
